Nicholas Dahlia Tuber

Nicholas is a new tuber offering for 2025.  While this is the first time we've offered him for sale, Nicholas has been grown on the farm for many years.  With several striking features, including color (orange with bronze, gold tones) and shape (waterlily), he's been a staff favorite for some time now.  Expect full, bright blooms, sometimes held tight on the plants with thick, firm stalks.  Often mid-season to late blooming but well worth the wait!  Wonderful in mid to back of boarder plantings or as the centerpiece for a large planter.

Waterlily Form, (5" blooms), 3-4' plants, strong grower. Benefits from staking.
