Foxy Lady Dalia Tuber

Foxy Lady has been a personal favorite of ours since we first began growing her back in 2020. We purchased our first few tubers of this variety on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. She is always the first to open early in the dahlia season and sports loads of 2" to 3" multi-colored blooms ranging in tones from dusty rose, mauve, and golden yellow. (Late in the season, flowers tend more toward the golden tones.) Plants benefit from support and can range from between 3 to 4' tall. Flowers are born on long, straight stems, making her a good choice for cutting gardens.

Class M (up to 4" blooms, but smaller in our experience) atop medium sized, 3-4' plants. Benefits from staking, but not always necessary, especially if planted in the garden around other plants that might provide some shelter from wind and gentle support in the rain.
